I’ve been working with my group, called The Experience, for about 2 years now. It features Ray Moore on vocals/drums, myself on electric tenor mandolin, Mike Taylor on guitar, and Patrick Olvera on bass. As some of you know, we play an array of styles, ranging from R&B, to contemporary Jazz, Funk, and Pop. We like to add different ideas to each song, such as improvisation, technical phrases, and ethnic rhythms. We also write original compositions for the group that groove in their own right! We’ve decided it’s time to get our music out into the world a bit more.We feel like there is a market out there for our group, whether we’re backing up an artist who is already established in the industry, or headlining our own shows all around the country. This is our time to showcase our talents and represent for Fresno!

We need to make a press packet. This includes a 5-song EP (cd), a HD video documenting the process of rehearsing, arranging, and recording the cd, and a professional photo shoot. We’ll include our unique arrangements of popular covers and some of our original tunes as well.

In order to make sure this is all done at the highest level possible, we need a little bit of help from you, our supporters. Thanks to a wonderful site called Kickstarter, we are able to set up a page with our financial goal. When the campaign starts, we’ll have 30 days to raise enough funds to meet (or surpass) the goal. If we do not meet the goal, no one will be charged any money they pledged and we will not get anything. You can donate anywhere from $1 to $500 and above! The point is every little bit helps us get closer to our recording.  We have created some enticing rewards for you, based on the amount pledged.

Those are listed on our Kickstarter page at:
